Mission Valley Aquatics – Mission Accomplished!

Rumors have been flying over the past week about the state of funding for the Mission Valley Aquatic Center. As of late, construction on the multimillion dollar aquatic center has been stalled while project directors wait for the last bit of funding needed to complete the project. It has been estimated that between $500,000 and $1,000,000 are needed to finish the final phase of construction. The last phase of construction will focus on plastering and sealing the pool, and installing electrical equitment, such as HVAC units and chemical pumps, as well as putting the final touches on the buildings that will make it ready for the public.

PolsonWebsites.com is preliminarily reporting that a loan has been acquired from the Montana Community Development Corporation that will cover the final funding for the project!

While details about the final agreement are still not available at this time, it is looking like official news about the final push for funding will be finalized within the next few days.

So, the big qustion now is when will the new aquatic center in Polson be open to the public? With consideration to the amount of work that is needed to be done, early speculations on a timeline points to an opening date somewhere between April and May.
